Which tool should you use?
An easy way to make necklaces and bracelets is by using crimp beads along with tiger wire, jewelry wire, clasp and jump ring. It requires only one tool and can be made at home at the dining table by anyone.
When making jewelry with crimp beads, the most important tool is a pair of needle-nose pliers. It is small and can be inserted into the space between the last bead and the clasp or eyelet to clamp the clamping bead in place to fix the thread.
If you don't already have a pair of pliers, you can find one here at a reasonable price.
If you work with tiger wire or other jewelry wire, be aware that it is a steel wire twisted from several thin wires and coated with nylon.
Steel is incredibly strong and will unfortunately destroy most jewelry making pliers, so rather use an old pair of scissors that you won't be upset about breaking.
