Siden butikken åbnede i 1979 er der ofte gjort storkøb for at sikre vareflowet og for at opnå gode indkøbspriser, der i sidste ende kommer kunderne til gode. Det har medført et stort vintage/restlager af alle mulige produkter, som vi stadig sælger af og dagligt bruger til at skabe vores egne designs med. Vi kvalitetstester de gamle varer ved blandt andet at tjekke om gamle snore er blevet møre eller om metallerne indeholder nikkel, som ikke var lovreguleret før i 1990. Smykkerne og smykkematerialerne testes også ved fysisk afprøvning på krop over tid .

The style varies – some designs are colorful and playful, others have a raw or striking expression. What they have in common is that they were produced years ago and are no longer produced. Once sold out, they won't come back.
Give old jewelry new life
Beadhouse has been repairing customers' broken jewelry for decades. This is also part of our thoughts on sustainability. The shop is from 1979, from a time when you didn't use and throw away, but tried to repair jewelery to extend their life. We continue that tradition and annually repair approx. 200 pieces of jewelery for our customers, so they can be worn for many years to come. We are not equipped as goldsmiths, but can easily save a broken silver chain by adding a small connecting link or a pearl chain by wrapping it around or adding a new clasp. However, repairs are only accepted in our physical store in Vendersgade, as it often requires a bit of dialogue to arrive at the best solution.
