How do I use the clamp beads?
The clamp bead is placed around the jewelry wire and clamped flat with pliers to lock the wire in place. It can also be covered by a clamp bead cover for a more finished look.
Are they suitable for all types of jewelry wire?
Most types of jewelry wire and wire will fit through the clamp beads, but always check that the thickness of the wire fits the 1mm bead hole.
Is silver-plated brass the same as real silver?
No, silver-plated brass consists of a base of brass with a thin layer of silver on top. It gives a silvery appearance but requires a little more care in use and storage than sterling silver.
