The orange glass beads, Miyuki Delica Beads, Luminous Bittersweet, are fine tubular Japanese glass beads from the manufacturer Miyuki. They are typically used for woven bracelets, earrings and pearl embroidery, where precision and uniformity are essential. The small 11/0 beads measure approximately 1.6 x 1.3 mm and have a hole diameter of 0.8 mm, making them suitable for thin bead wire or FireLine. Each bag contains approximately 3 grams, equivalent to around 600 pearls. Suitable for both beginners and experienced jewelry makers who want a professional and reproducible result.
Maintenance
To preserve the pearls' bright color and appearance, they should be stored dry and out of direct sunlight. Clean them after use with a dry, soft cloth so that dust and oil do not accumulate on the surface. It extends the life of the pearls and ensures that they retain their expression in your jewellery.

Frequently asked questions
How many Delica beads go into a bracelet?
A standard 17cm size woven bracelet typically uses about 1.5–2 grams of Delica 11/0 beads, depending on the density and width of the pattern.
Which thread is suitable Miyuki Delica 11/0?
The beads work best with FireLine 0.06mm or Nymo size B. These thicknesses fit through the hole several times without risk of bursting the bead.

Yes, they are designed for weaving and structured beadwork, where their uniform shape ensures even rows and precise patterns.
